Thomas Frank reveals his first words inviting Eriksen to join the team

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has revealed that. His phone call with Christian Eriksen in mid-December led to a short-term contract with the Denmark international football.

The 29-year-old midfielder has signed a contract with Brentford until the end of the season. He is keen to return to football after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark in their Euro 2020 clash with Finland.

Eriksen’s contract with Inter Milan expires in December. Due to Italian rules that prohibit Serie A players equipped with defibrillators from training or playing on the pitch.
